From their large and varied pantheon of god and goddesses to their beautiful artwork and ethnical and scientific innovations, the ancient Egyptians were one of the most revered cultures the world has ever seen. The culture of Egypt today is just as fascinating, and tens of thousands of travellers come to the area every year to experience all that the country has to offer. The routes for luxury Nile cruises run from Luxor to Aswan or Abu Simbel, though most include a comprehensive tour to the entire Cairo area before departing, by air, to the southern locations.Decades ago it was possible to depart from Cairo, but the creation of locks and “cataracts” in the river’s course now makes it impossible for larger ships to pass through some areas. For this reason most luxury Nile cruises begin or end in Luxor, which was a historical capital during the ancient times. It is UniqueThose who come to Egypt for the first time, as well as those who have been there many times before, will likely want to find a unique way to take their vacation and see all of the greatest sights. A cruise down the Nile allows people to have more space and to be more comfortable.More IntimateUnlike the cruise ships that carry thousands of different passengers, the ships that sail along the Nile River are far smaller.
Beautiful, Terry! and true down to the bone. Just the few things we 'can' do connect us to our friend. The connection of loving attention, and the connection of participating in one of life's larger transitions. We are blessed to be a part of the ending of his life. It's just that sometimes blessings hurt us while they bless us. Thank you so much for posting this!

Craig:
You are right -- still lots to learn about Social Media. But SM's connection to retail sales is vastly different than its impact on professional services (like CPAs).
SM is, as you say, about building relationships, conversations, credibility, and trust.
My blog (http://RockSolidFinance.com) has generated new customers from around the country (and interest around the world). People I would never have met, business opportunities I would never have seen. It creates a bond with strangers that would be impossible to do in the real world.
How refreshing to meet a prospect for the first time, sit down to coffee, and have them immediately tell you why they think you are great. "I love the blog -- I've learned so much -- Let's talk about that piece you wrote on pricing..."
The conversations do not all happen on-line, but they start there. And its a different world now. For me, the customers are better informed, trust me faster, and even self-qualified.

So keep up the blog... and spread the word!

Imagine how boring games would be without keeping score? Business is a game of strategy and focus. It is supposed to FUN! But it's not just the score that is important. People perform best when the "rules of play" are explicit and scoring method is clear. Employees (not their fault) are really good at living up to our lack of expectations. Clear expectations can even fail if we have "fuzzy feedback." It's the ultimate one-two punch.

Tell them what you want (exactly).
Tell them what you don't want (exactly).
Then let them set up a system to measure their performance.
Empower them with authority and resources to improve their work environment. Then stay out of their way. Stand back and start cheering . . .

Game ON!

Geni,

If the sign with flashing light said. You are driving at the speed limit stop at the next gas station and get 4100, it would work better.

Tom, so sorry to readt this. I totally agree that the universe is random and destructive, seemingly sensless things happen all the time. There is no real explanation. That doesn't make events like this any less painful. This is horrible for everyone involved. Especially Miklya. Love her while you have her and make sure she knows it. Do the same for her parents. I am sure you will. Thanks for letting us know. Paul
